shooting the elephant

As i read this story it was rather sad the way the officer was treated. This is often the case with authority when they are just patroling they are hated but when they are suppose to save somebodies life it is expected. On another hand this officer went through something that everybody goes through every day and that is peer pressure. It sucks but there will always be problems that we go through it is how we react that shows who we really are.
